trimming excess, Air, walk-around, bone conduction and probably should

I had a slew of tool and supplies from years of silversmithing. Including all tools and materials for teaching a class of twelve, so students did not have to purchase anything, other than the sterling silver. This a a photo of the last of my stuff sitting in the back of my pickup. Sold it through craigslist Las Crusus. Now I am down to one Large toolbox with enough tools to make whatever I would wish to make. I’m good.

I decided to not have my MacBook Pro repaired. Purchased a MacBook Air. I never needed all the power and features of a Pro, but it is such an awesome laptop, that I just wanted one. Anyway, for what I use a computer for, the Air is plenty.

So much for purchasing a Chromebook. I enjoyed learning how to use it, along with Google Drive, Docs and whatnot. Might use it when staying in a spot with wi-fi. No regrets.
There were some procedures I needed help with so I called a friend in Moab. Yep, the one who initially told me about ChromeBook years ago. She set up a Google Meet with me. Never used such a program before. So that in itself was an eyeopener. Anyway, Theresa could not have made the whole experience any easier or more helpful. I was blown away and most thankful by the whole thing. I know, something that most people take for granted since they do it so often. Almost makes me feel behind the times.

Any one remember Apple’s iPod mini nano, the small square one? I recently came across one I had squirreled away years ago. It has 807 songs from back then. A simple, unexpected treat. Simple pleasures.

Something that new RVers learn, is to always, always do a final walk-around once the rig is hooked up and ready to roll out. When I started down the slope leaving my property last November, I spaced out doing a walk-around. Cost me a few hundred dollars. Remember a while back I wrote that it was a tight fit getting the rig beween a ponderosa and a juniper? Can’t have the tow mirrors extended. From the photo, guess what I had extended. Used to have three steps under the door. One step was ripped off and all the other pieces were extremely bent out of shape. I had to keep bending them back and forth until the metal fatiqued and broke off.
I’ve been using a dirtbike stand as a step into the Nash for 10 months, until I finally hired a mobile RV repair service to replace the stairs. Not on yet. I so love making dumb-ass costly mistakes. Can’t, however, quite bring myself to intentionally make more of them.

I have not had much luck with earbuds when I’m being active. So I decided to try a SHOKZ OpenMove open-ear, bluetooth, spor†, bone conduction earphone. Without earbuds, hearing is normal. Hope the Shokz lasts because I am sure enjoying it.

A nurse giving the patient a pre-colonoscopy checkup advised, ‘You will be given anesthesia, so for the rest of the day do not drive, drink alcohol or sign any legal documents.’ After a brief pause, she added, ‘And you should probably stay off socia media, dating apps and Amazon.’

The ball is in your court. Pick it up and do something with it.

Forgot where I came across this.

The lens and filters we choose to view life all come down to one thing. Attitude.
When it seems like the circumstances of your life are dulling your view,
remember you choose how to see the world.

For the AARP tutoring program I was involved with for the past two years we loaned our volunteers Chromebooks if they did not have a laptop of their own. These Chromebooks have been a major source of headaches for the staff since we spent so much time troubleshooting why they didn't do what we needed them to do! Glad you are back to a Mac.
